General
U5F's tools are provided for convenience and general use. While we aim for accuracy, we don't guarantee that any tool's output is error-free, complete, or suitable for every use case. Always verify results before relying on them for production systems, security-sensitive tasks, or anything where an error would cause harm or loss.
Security & cryptography tools
Tools like the hash generator use standard, well-known algorithms (e.g. SHA-256) but are intended for everyday development tasks — not as a substitute for a security review. Don't use a bare hash for password storage; use a purpose-built algorithm like bcrypt or Argon2 instead.
File & image tools
Compression and conversion tools may change file format, quality, or metadata. Keep a backup of your original file before processing it.
